Head of Nearshore Center (SDM)

– Professional/technical skills Language requirements:

• Manage the nearshore IT team’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Foster a high-performance team through job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising results
• Work closely with the  IT leadership team on building the  IT brand in the nearshore location
• Actively manage team spirit, individual satisfaction, and long-term retention of the nearshore team
• Manage the nearshore hub budget, including personnel, operational, and capital expenditures
• Align IT goals, policies, and procedures with Corporate IT. Ensure compliance with all policies e.g. licensing, Information Security
• Build/maintain strategic relationships with local technology partners, sourcing providers, and suppliers to ensure operational excellence
• Establish and maintain effective communication with the nearshore team leads and the IT leadership team
 • Implement and manage local IT systems in the nearshore hub (telecommunications, networks, cyber security, operations, and enterprise systems) per headquarter’s strategy for performance, reliability, disaster recovery, data security, and compliance

Requirements:
• A relevant Bachelor of Science degree, with a Master’s preferred
• 8 - 10 years of experience in a related area and approximately 5 years as an Information Systems (IS) Director or equivalent in a multinational environment. Leadership experience in multiple IT disciplines (applications, infrastructure, project management, security, support)
• Broad “generalist” who is both technology-driven and a consultant to business managers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally
• Ability to manage, motivate, and develop team members, enhancing their capabilities. Effective in a collaborative, shared leadership setting
• Deep knowledge of IT policy frameworks, management structures, and service delivery processes (ITSM)
• English (C1 or C2)
