Job Summary:
This job role is for a dynamic, creative, and result-oriented Social Media and Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team. This role involves managing social media platforms and supporting marketing activities such as generating content for job fairs, tradeshows, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proficiency in graphic design and the English language, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop and curate engaging text-based content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and brochures.
- Design graphics for social media posts, banners, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop content and design marketing materials that support their efforts.
- Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
Social Media Management:
- Maintain engagement on social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Plan, schedule, and publish posts to boost engagement and brand awareness.
- Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns social media activities with broader marketing goals.
- Provide monthly reports on social media insights and performance metrics.
Video Production:
- Filmed, edited, and produced videos for social media and internal events, ensuring they reflected the company’s brand and culture.
- Create content for events, including podcasts, reels, and promotional videos.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update the inventory of marketing materials and event giveaways.
- Perform general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the marketing department.
- Schedule and organize client visits, including hotel bookings, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management, graphic design
- Demonstrable success in developing and executing social media campaigns.
- Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Experience with graphic design and video production is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging, on-brand content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
