About the Job:
The Odoo Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Odoo ERP modules according to client business needs. This role involves understanding client requirements, mapping business processes, designing solutions, conducting training, and coordinating with technical teams for custom development.
Technical profile/ Your duties:
- Deliver the assigned tasks within due time frame and minimum percentage of defects/bugs, ensuring the needed quality of delivery is attained.
- Ensure being up to date with the latest needed technologies aiding the Client’s projects needs and delivery.
- Document all tasks being implemented for easy reference to the development team and Clients.
- Effectively Communicates with the Team/Client, for an easy flow of information and connection with the team.
- Manage time to utilize 25% - 30% for research and learning and 70% - 75% for technical development.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Follow the NDA & Security Data Protection Guidelines ensuring data is confidential and not disclosed to any third parties
Job Description:
- Gather and analyze client business requirements and workflows.
- Configure, customize, and deploy core Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).
- Participate in functional testing, training, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Create project documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), SOPs, workflows, and training guides.
- Work closely with technical developers for customizations and integrations.
- Provide post-implementation support including troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Conduct user training sessions and system demonstrations.
- Advise clients on best practices to maximize Odoo ERP utilization.
- Manage multiple ongoing implementation projects and maintain progress reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
- Strong understanding of business processes (Finance, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, HR).
- Hands-on experience with Odoo configuration and module setup.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
